On my calibrated iMac, M240 looks bit too yellowish and the sky blue looks pale, not accurate as a whole, while M9 has a nice sky given it leans to the cool side, both of them are not accurate, these files are meant to be corrected by PP.The in-camera jpeg processing logic simply not intelligent enough to deal with all different pictures accurately.

True! in camera jpeg is definitely a compromise.
係C/D比較! 點都唔似A/B....

you are right. i just re-calibrated my monitor. i forgot that i just replaced the LCD panel of my imac. the M240 is a bit yellowish. i agree that neither one is accurate, as expected. ha!
CMOS 始終高光位都係差d。
maybe it is Leica's deliberate decision to make the M240 1/3 stop under exposed by default in order to keep the highlight.

I think it is becasue they boost contrast a little more for M240 as default.
But I also noticed M240 is slightly under as default when compare to M9.
If you have access to the RAW, the file from M240 definitely can restore more detail from the highlight than M9.

Wondering if the metering mode of the m240 the same as m9.
