最近睇左好多246 sample 唔知點解始終感覺好平好灰...個人始終好始鐘意舊MM多D... ...

I'm gonna try to answer this one .

I think both the original monochrome and new monochrome produces fairly flat raw files, the reasoning is to allow the maximum potential for post processing.  Having said that i think the old monochrome produces flat files with more pixel level sharpness.

Though it may sound questionable as we always focus on the superiority of color interpreted by CCD, is it possible that the different between MM and the new M246 is, again, caused by CCD vs CMOS ?

i wouldn't say superior color between ccd and cmos just that ccd tend to look more film like.  I do think the difference in pixel level clarity/sharpness is due to ccd vs cmos, the m9 sensor just has more bite compared to the m240 raws i've seen.

For superiority, I mean interpretation of colors. To me, digital is different species to film, and it is not right to compare either CCD or CMOS with film.

Btw, the only sensor that gives me a film-alike feeling in term of colors is Sigma X3 !

pretty much agree with you! but for me film is always film has much more subtle tones and color rendition.

DNG import to LR, direct export as Jpeg
not even resize (just happened to be 2Mb)

adjust to my taste (may not be yours)
