Samsung's Android-powered Galaxy NX hits UK retailers at a weighty £1,299 ($2,000)

We expected the Samsung Galaxy NX camera to cost a bundle when it was first announced, and if pricing from UK retailer Jessops proves accurate, we aren't going to be "disappointed." The Android-powered mirrorless model will run £1,299 ($2,000 or so) with an 18-55mm kit lens, more than Canon's fearsome EOS 70D and pushing Panasonic's flagship GH-3. As you may recall, the Galaxy NX is the first-ever interchangeable-lens camera to run Android, and packs 3G / 4G LTE radios along with a 20.3-megapixel APS-C sensor, 8.6fps shooting speed, WiFi, 16GB built-in storage, and 1/6000 shutter speed. We noted such strange bedfellows might make it a hard sell, especially considering some shortcomings for demanding photographers, like a slow start-up time and lack of manual dials. Jessops is showing the model in stock, while another retailer called Wex merely has it up for pre-order, so we're not sure which has it straight. In any event, if you're one of the few who thought high-end cameras really needed an Android OS, hit the sources.

呵呵，好易被填海。

而家越來越多人買WIFI SD 都意味住電話同相機一定會合體，爭在係電話基因多d定係相機基因多d，以前係曬張相在背後寫字再送畀親朋，之後係email張相畀人，再之後係“影完post上fb�微博�whatsapp�line啦”，相機可以上網已經慢慢變必需

我都諗著買返部 Sony RX100 mkII，貪佢可以即刻send相上網。

見到有人話用wifi-card影，即刻可以係 ipad 睇到，如果係，影 fashion 唔駛帶電腦幾方便喎！

我都用緊WIFI SD了，過相去ipad，iphone都好方便。

wohtip 兄用邊隻 wifi card 呢？夠快�穩定嗎？

如果買，我諗著用落D800E到，CF card 影 RAW，SD 用 WIFI CARD 影JPG，即場射落部 IPAD 到。

買時要check真張卡係唔係support你部機，我Pentax K01 就用 Transcend，GRD4/GR 就用 eye-fi，試過Transcend 借畀朋友插入GXR，張卡就死左，係完全搞唔掂既死，好彩拎去代理免費換張新。

在iphone�ipad上preview 好快，preview左，剔左要過邊張，都係一秒左右就過左張幾MB 既jpg。另外，聽聞Toshiba Flash Air 都係唔錯既。我建議帶機去買，因為店員唔一定熟張卡夾唔夾機，即買即試。eye-fi 好似係大陸牌子，所以係最平。

i just did some research. i found that there are four major brands. Toshiba Airflash, EyeFi, Transcend, and PQI.

PQI has the worst quality - so out.
Transcend is the cheaper one. speed is around 1MB/sec. But not very stable, like Wohtip suggests. it depends on the camera.
Both Toshiba and EyeFi are faster. 2MB/sec. Both have good reviews. EyeFi actually is a USA company (I have an old version of EyeFI given out by google a few years ago)

Originally I planned to get Toshiba, as the reviews are pretty good. But it seems that it doesn't support D800E
So I think I will go for EyeFi. Among eye-fi, the latest model eye-fi mobi seems interesting. it doesn't need wi-fi / hotspot network to send photos to iphone / ipad.

我Canon 6D WiFi 去ip ...

唔好意思，我老人痴呆了，原來我一張係Transcend 另一張唔係eye fi，係ez share   而ez share 用在GR，用raw 再wifi 去iphone 5 完全無問題。

Samsung lens and camera tend to go very sharp on subject, but colour shift and bokeh have not see any improvement
