These 2 little amps are quite unique and competent in different ways.

What is/are the SET amps?
Right in the middle lower shelf is my SET amp:
Acoustic Masterpiece (Air Tight) M101, using one 12AX7 and one KT88 bumping out 8W per channel {:4_115:}

Basically, I have two systems in my playground: one tube and one solid state.
Tube system runs on Air Tight ATC-1 preamp and M101 SET amp whilst SS system involves basically a junior Cello system: Palette preamp and Encore monoblock power amp.
I have three sets of speaker: Full horn-loaded Klipsch La Scala, Cello Stradivari premiere (aka 4 feet) and 10" full-range Coral Flat 10II in original Coral B-1010 cabinet with add-on Carol B-1X horn tweeter.

It's rather hard to say {:4_93:}
As I have just started playing with full horn-loaded speakers, the combo of tube plus La Scala is the set I listened to most of the time recently.

The most poisonous is "open baffle speakers" !
