非常感謝師兄無私的教導和分享，欣賞師兄作品之餘，觀摩師兄的經驗和造詣，讓我獲益良多！
經過再三考慮之下，我準備明年嘗試紅外攝影，初步打算用135紅外菲林嘗試，視乎效果，也許之後再跟隨師兄用M8作近紅外攝。
用菲林拍攝紅外，理由是因為我本來準備明年使用135菲林，既然已準備使用菲林，菲林的種類，可以廣泛一些，包括彩色、黑白、正片、負片、和紅外菲林。
我打算回歸菲林，是為了在攝影路途上成長，這是一個很個人的決定，每個人都要找自己的路，人生如是，事業如是，興趣也如是。
我拍照的機會不多，我不每天帶相機，因為我覺得在我的日常生活中，值得拍攝的主題不多，這是一個非常個人的感受。因此，對我來說，照相是日常生活以外的特殊活動。我享有照相的時間不多，後製的時間更少，因此享受興趣的時間，要好好珍惜。
師兄的紅外照片，意境特殊，大都攝於人煙與自然之間的邊緣，很有無為的意味，如有朝一日能開影展，讓觀眾享受觀看照片（而非熒光幕）的樂趣，我相信是很有意義的。
有機會的話，希望跟師兄多交流，讓我向師兄學習更多！

然自工業革命，污染俞益嚴重，紅外幻燈片及其沖曬化學物品皆因環保問題而受淘汰。

These days, I am rather tempted to convert an A7 to do color IR photography.
Re Jason's post in another thread, I am considering conversion by lifepixel.com.
Just not sure which filter should I choose. 650nm or above.
Any advice from you?

The choice of which IR pass thru' wave length depends on what application/result would you like.
Since the Leica IR filters I have allow some red to pass thru', i.e. have certain kind of red on color IR, I believe they are not IR 720.
They probably between 590 ~ 680, my guess. If you just want BW IR, then IR 720 is fine. For color & BW IR, you may need 590 ~ 680.
Ask "lifepixel.com" for details. They should know. The larger the number, the less red will pass thru' & tends to less IR color effects.
My two cents:
About the A7, if you plan to use M lenses, my concern is: you may not get good results on wide angles - especially wider than 35mm, due to vignette.
I have tried even 35mm & Leica IR filter with A7R, though without modification, due to heavy light loses at the corners.
So far, I am pretty comfortable with M8/8.2 for IR photography without any modifications.
I plan to try on the medium format as well with a back that the standard IR cut filter can be easily replaced with an IR pass thru' filter, i.e. can try difference IR wave length. Will see.

You are right that A7 is inferior shooting with non-Sony wide angle lenses.
I'll better think it through.
Looking forward to your medium format IR picturesin the soon future.
