You're absolutely right.So far as I know there is no one single Canto-blues CD / LP.

When the song follow the 12 bar blues progression, it should be considered Blues...
The songs mentioned are quite blues in nature just they really cannot capture the mood.Not even most white people like Eric Clapton or SRV.You just cannot compare any of them with the real Blues singers such as Robert Johnson, BB King, Muddy Water, Buddy Guy etc. Pandachief 發表於 2014-6-27 09:37

Not being a musician, I am not too sure if Danny Summer and Lam's songs follow the 12-bar progression.
That said, I fully concurred that they are simply too far away to be on par with those names you have mentioned. B.B. King - Live at the Regal, Live in Cook County Jail, Live in Japan & Live at the BBC, my favourite albums. White blues like E.C. 70-80's, & S.R.V.
