They need to peel off a bit of the outsole before they can install the toe plate in order to fully embedded into the outsole.

I bought some toe plates yesterday and all of them are in size 50 (Lulu). It fits Last 82 perfectly but I will need to get two size bigger (size 70) for my square toe shoes!!!

SS.Leica hing, may I know where you sourced the toe plates last time?The online shop I found does not ship to HK....:(

I checked with 擦鞋街 and his toe plates are the same as mine.

剛剛從英國收到第一批 lulu Metal Toe Plates.

昨天和有得x 的老闆傾, 他說現在主要有兩批:
1) 法國: 合金
2) LULU: 鐵

合金沒那麼容易生鏽, 軟一些, 所以容易整, 但沒有鐵那樣耐用. 鐵比較硬, 但比較容易生鏽.

我現時主要是用 LULU, 剛訂的奧地利鞋頭鐵應該是鐵的. 不過會試試搽一層 WD40 上去防鏽防氧化, 看看會不會好一些.

ok , 算耐用 ,
我5介意生銹喎 , 鞋底無所謂:)
