IMHO, GFX50R is not too much heavier and bigger than a M240. Matching it with a M lens, you won't feel the difference after a while. Of course, the drawback is that most M lenses could not fully cover the sensor in 4:3 perspective.
Indeed, with appropriate adapter, GFX can be used with most medium format lenses across various brands. Consider the price tag of manual medium format lenses in second hand market at the moment, which really makes the GFX a camera of very high value-for-money.
Btw, the pictures you saw is far from doing justice to GFX. Not until you look at the original file on computer would you notice how much you have missed;P
