In the next morning, we visited the old town.
Yes, every wall here was painted blue, lighter blue or darker blue.
The blue here is a more saturated one than the Greek's blue for example in Santorini and other islands.
Like the red we Chinese reckon as fortunate colour, I was told the Arabs believe blue brings luck.
In Cantonese we call their darker blue the "dead man blue", the one on white lanterns.:P

At Chefchaouen Blue Town, I snapped a shot I like a lot for its simplicity and contrast.

Pretty lady?
Yes, I spotted one but the crew didn't allow me to get closer.

I stood by here about 20 minutes alerting myself for the right colour and movement came in.
Which one do you prefer?

Very nice series, and I particularly like 4583
Thanks, mate.
I also like this shot a lot despite that it's not obviously Morocco.
I mean, one may pick up a similar shot in India, for example.

Cats are common in the Blue Town while stray dogs were rarely seen.

On the 7th day, we left Chefchaouen for Rabat, Morocco's capital.
While the bus was passing by a small town at a moderate speed, I spotted this scene from window.
Luckily I had the camera in hand with the right lens and right settings.
I think the composition is interesting as the balloon heart looked tying on the man's head.
The Arabian line read Happy Birthday or Happy Fest (as I later consulted some local people}.
My birthday was actually on the next day.

At Rabat, we didn't have ample time to go through its old town.
Instead we strolled along the beach looking over the Atlantic Ocean.

On the 9th day, we arrived Marrakech.
The city's name has engraved on my mind since teenage when American folk group Crosby, Stills & Nash sang "Marrakech Express".
"I've been saving all my money just to take you there.
I smell the garden in your hair..."
How sweet the lyrics is!
Here's the signature square, Jamaa el-Fna, not romantic though.

While the marketplace was catered for tourists,
the medina adjacent to the square was paradise for street photography.
