Three adapters arrive today, M-GFX, FD-GFX, & C/Y-GFX.
Quick tests with lenses of various focal lengths,
Disappointments were more than pleasant surprises :$

M-GFX
Contrary to what has been said about this by another c hing in old market
I found that the only usable lens was 75/2AA.
Even 75/1.4 (either version one or German version) produces obvious dark corners.
I tried ...
135/3.4 Apo ... dark corners
90/2.8 Elmarit M, Fat 9, thin 9, and 90/2Apo ... all dark corners
50/2AA, 50/1.4A ... dark corners
35/1.4 Aspherical ... dark corners
K75/2 ... dark corners
Konica 60/1.2 ... small dark corners
Alpa KMS 50/1.9 ... dark corners
Angenieux 90/1.8 M42-M ... dark corners
ie
So far tested
only 75/2AA is usable, with adapter on GFX
Of course, one can crop.
But then buying a big sensor and then crop the picture seems not making good sense ...

Say
50/1.4 E60 ROM
35/2.0 ROM
100/2.8
75...
These were my frequent lens..
FD-GFX
FD50/1.2
FD55/1.2 ssc Asp
FD85/1.2
All produced dark corners
which seemed to disappear (almost) after @2.8 or smaller
So if you are not shooting wide open
these FD lenses produces nice images, @2.8 or smaller

C/Y-GFX
This is really a pleasant surprise !
25/2.8 ... showed big dark corners
35/1.4 ... acceptable image done at very close distance
50 Jahre ... only small dark corners, diminishes as you step down
80Jahre ... same as 50
100/2 ... produces superb image even @2
135/2 ... same as 100/2
All the Fotodiox adapters are precisely and stoutly built,
with the C/Y one feeling the best (to me).

I didn't buy the Nikon-GFX adapter
As I have only a few N lenses
and I thought I could accomplish the same with Nikon-M then M-GFX
But with 58/1.2 and Cook DFP, there were big dark corners
Yet this could be due to the M adapter, rather than (?)usable Nikon-GFX adapter.
Because, eg.,
while C/Y110/2 worked very well with C/Y-GFX adapter
But when I tried to make it C/Y-M + M-GFX, there were obvious dark corners ...
So, so far,
as commented by 1.4 c hing,
with adapter
Some R lenses work well, and look good, and feel good in hand
HB lenses should all work well, yet are all bulky and heavy
Surprisingly
All (except 25/2.8) C/Y lenses mentioned above work very well, and feels balance in hand, and looks more handsome than R lenses :lol

I tested (almost) all of my R lenses, with adapter, on GFX today.
NOT OK
19/2.8 v.1, 21/4, 24/2.8ROM, 35/2, 35/2.8, 50/2 v.1&2
50/1.4ROM
dark corners, not acceptable to me
35-70/3.5, 35-70/4 Macro
Mild dark corners at 70, but useless at 35
21-35 Vario
Surprisingly, 35 nearly acceptable, but tunnel vision wider than that
28-90/2.8
Mentioned in previous page, 90 not acceptable to me
That means ...
80/1.4 OK
90/2 OK
100/2.8 AME very good
180/3.4 OK
180/2.8 Apo OK
Ohhh
I forget to test the 500/8 mirror reflex lens :P
