I am also a beginner with cold drip, so I don't think I can give you much advice.

From what you said I think you should be right on track with the grind, time and water/bean ratio.

Some tried slower drip, instead of 4-6 hours, you can try up to 8-10 hours.

With cold drip darker roast is better especially if it is chilled.

I also like African beans to others as the earthy aroma is so unique even chilled.

Do you have the same Hario Cold Drip?

我用既係韓國My Dutch 冰滴壺,好處係比一般既冰滴壺既體積細D,而且佢設計係全密封,可以成個放入雪櫃滴。

Don't know much about the Korean design but it is always good to change/adjust the time/grind/ratio for different effect.
