If you are a fan, you won't be disappointed. It is basically a remake of episode 4 and 5 combined.In which, usually regard as the best episodes.... especially 5.
No more computer animation! Yeah!! No more Jar Jar bing! Also all favourite charactors back!
The only compliant is at times the story really don't have much new ideas...... just a collection of all the best scenes from 4-6.Disney so smart they know fans really dislike 1-3.... that's why Disney I heard abandoned Lucas' involvement in the makeing of 7-9.
But it is very entertaining movie. Thanks Panda. I was the big fan of Star Wars.Going to watch this one.Hope not to be disappointed again. Which theatre did you go to? Too bad there is no IMAX 2D, only 3D at the moment. shot on film too! This is great, i just watched yesterday. It needs to be watch ASAP ar!!! A very good one. Full of memory!! Watched it on Mon, not bad want to go but hate 3D, much less option for 2D :( I watched it at ISQUARE IMAX 3D and it was actually not too bad, the screen wasn't as big as I thought it would be.The 3D part was done just right I think and it really brings a lot of detail on the space crafts and give you a sense of space. I might watch it again at Ocean Theatre though as the IMAX screen at ISQUARE was kinda small I somehow find most 3D movie kinda "dark"... like the whole film is 2 stops under exposed.
I watched it again on 2D with my kids and her schoolmates... so much better..!
