Does your camera have more than 20MP?
http://piccureplus.com/does-your-camera-offer-more-than-20-mp-well-unfortunately-your-lens-may-just-not-be-able-to-take-advantage-of-it/so what can we do then ???? that's why A7Sii ---->12MP ????
Fujifilm XT1 ----->16MP ????
{:5_229:}{:5_232:} so, the lesson is: stop wasting money on cheap (or old) glasses :lol:lol Or ... Stop chasing after pixels ... Do we really need that much pixels ;P As long as we get the best lens in the market then we won't suffer as much. kgv 發表於 2015-9-28 11:30

depends on the development of the next generation of monitor la.
currently 24mp is still fine. :P Jason 發表於 2015-9-28 12:33

But the next development of my eyes will be going backward :( I think bigger sensors are good, we can be sure that we have maximized our old lenses.
Also, we have a lot more flexibility to crop. There are situations where one can use "fixed lens+large sensor+crop" = "zoom". Hence, one high resolution lens + one camera for min weight travel. This is a big advantage, not wastage.
In addition, computers nowadays are powerful and not expensive, storage discs are cheap. Exactly !!!
Before my last trip, I was struggling to choose between 50/2 or 75/2 ...
But then I told myself, I was going to use A7Rii anyway ... 大不了咪 crop ... so off I went with 50/2 ApoA :victory:
